Miss Vocals, born Shalonda M. Dansby on June 1, 1982, in Mobile, Alabama, is a dynamic Southern soul artist who began her musical journey in a gospel group with her siblings. After moving to Atlanta in 2008, she performed at prestigious venues like the Apollo Theater, appeared on the 2nd season of *Sunday Best*, and sung background for Palmer Williams Jr. from Tyler Perry's *House of Payne*. In 2013, she transitioned into musical theater, performing in shows such as *A Soulful Christmas* and *Motown City Review*. In 2021, Miss Vocals began focusing on her solo career, collaborating with Southern soul legend Wendell B, and her music has since aired on BET Plus. She continues to release original music and visuals, aiming to grow her fan base and share her gift worldwide.
